Are you looking for an easy way to optimize your website for search engine rankings with copy?

You should check out the new SEO.ai feature that includes an enhanced prompt field.

The Prompt field is in the bottom of the page in the editor

With this you can provide instructions for the AI on what to do.

And yes, it's a bit like you might have tried it in ChatGPT, but we tailored it to SEO and copywriting inside a document.

Instead of allowing the AI to operate autonomously, you can direct it to act in a particular manner.

See and try out the list below for examples. And become a true master in using AI-assisted writing!

List with example prompts

We have gathered some of the most used for inspiration. If you have any cool prompts, please feel free to share them with us at support@seo.ai.

How to use the prompt field

You can just place the cursor anywhere in your document/text and provide instructions on what to do.

Or you can also select/highlight some text and have that as input for the AI and your prompt.

It will then become something like this if we are to outline as steps;

  1. Select/highlight some text or just place the cursor anywhere in the document
  2. Provide a prompt inside the field (see examples in the table above)
  3. Click the green arrow or hit enter.

See how Torbjørn demonstrates the prompt field with 3 different commands in this video:

Examples of using the prompt;

Write a metaphor as a quote

If I, in an article about SEO, used the prompt 'Write a metaphor as a quote,' it generated the following;

"Search engine optimization is like a puzzle, with each piece fitting together to create a beautiful picture."

Write a paragraph about [topic], include [element you would like to have addressed]

In an article about SEO, I used the prompt 'Write a paragraph about SEO, include the founding of Google' and it generated the following text;

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing web content to make it more visible to search engines like Google. SEO is an important part of any digital marketing strategy, as it helps to ensure that your website is seen by potential customers. Google, the world's most popular search engine, was launched in 1998 and has since become the go-to source for finding information online. By optimizing your website for Google, you can increase your visibility and reach more potential customers.

Make a list

Using the prompt 'make a list of the key elements in SEO', the AI generated the following list:

1. Keyword Research

2. Content Optimization

3. Link Building

4. Technical SEO

5. Mobile Optimization

6. Local SEO

7. User Experience

8. Image Optimization

9. Structured Data Markup

10. Analytics and Reporting

Rewrite in shorter sentences, multiple paragraphs and more like spoken language. More line breaks

In an article about artificial intelligence, I highlighted the following text and filled out the prompt with 'Rewrite in shorter sentences, multiple paragraphs and more like spoken language. More line breaks';

Original text;

Deep learning approaches are often more successful than traditional machine learning algorithms at object recognition tasks because they are able to learn from the original input data to identify patterns, rather than relying on features that have been pre-defined. This allows them to detect more complex and subtle relationships in the data, which can be especially beneficial for tasks such as object detection, where the objects of interest can be found in a variety of positions, sizes, and orientations.

Deep learning approaches are often more successful than traditional machine learning algorithms at object recognition tasks.

Why? Because they are able to learn from the original input data to identify patterns, rather than relying on pre-defined features. This allows them to detect more complex and subtle relationships in the data.

Object detection is a great example of this. Objects of interest can be found in different positions, sizes, and orientations. Deep learning can pick up on these subtle differences, giving it an edge over traditional machine learning algorithms.

Paraphrase to a child

In an article about AI and deep learning, I highlighted the following text and asked it to 'Paraphrase to a young child'

Original text;

Deep learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) that uses a variety of algorithms to analyze large datasets and identify patterns and trends. It is based on the concept of neural networks, which are modeled after the human brain and are used to process large amounts of data. Deep learning algorithms are used to identify complex relationships between data points and to make predictions based on those relationships. AI, on the other hand, is a broad term that refers to any computer system that can learn and adapt to its environment. AI systems can use various techniques, such as machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning, to analyze data and make decisions.

New text;

Deep learning is a type of artificial intelligence that uses special algorithms to look at large amounts of data and figure out patterns and trends. It is like a computer brain that can take in lots of information and use it to make decisions. AI is a bigger term that covers any computer system that can learn and change based on what it finds. AI systems use different methods like machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning to look at data and make decisions.
